BLUE VELVET

Stunning!

This color was so beautiful, while my base color was previously a different shade of blue, it dyed pretty similar to the shade on the platinum blonde hair sample. The color lasted me 9 weeks without any touch ups at all. That was with biweekly hair washing + hair styling with water everyday. I assumed it would’ve lasted longer if I didn’t go swimming in the ocean. Will definitely buy again at some point.

This color STICKS in my hair. Look, I'm turning 33 this year, I've been dying my hair since I was 16. Have done all brands, all shades, everything you can think of. This is the brand I come back to. I have a very dark, stubborn brown hair that I hate bleaching too much (lessons learned in those many years dying lol) so I stick to the darker colors. I'll bleach my roots for about 15-20 minutes to get just enough lifted for the dye to stick. For me the Velvet colors are amazing. I tend to mix Blue Velvet and Dark Violet, the blue takes over a bit but I don't mind it. Recently I went 2 months without touching up my hair due to life. I just dyed it again today, with that mix. Monday, 3 days ago, a new coworker started and she complimented the blue that had been in my hair for 2 MONTHS! Just bought another bottle of each as well as the Fuchsia Pink to add to the mix. Also you can get the dye on Amazon now. Since that happened, I haven't used any other brand. I will buy from the website when I need multiple bottles but it's so nice to just grab a bottle on Amazon with free shipping every so often.
